Sorry Bill, I've got too many irons in the fire with youngest son's b-ball tourney and my busing of a bunch of'em there and back, but in essence once the Batt. is pulled, another CUDA quick hit should delete all holding charges, which will be even deeper than a long hold hit(and quicker than an overnight wait, too), but not deplete Batt. as much, therefore believed better in the long run. But, as I said; the multi-chime PRAM zap may be the clincher on difficult situations, and on top of that an OF boot/nvram reset(or init reset on a Beige)/reset all/bye or mac boot may help even further.
