PowerPrint is a long term Mac product. I have used it, or it's

product support OSX? In all my googling I don't remember seeing

According to the site

works under classic, but it does work.
I just remembered that X does not support the serial port, so you will
need to get the USB version.

After much consideration and more googling, I think I'm better off with
a dedicated print server which can be bought at NewEgg for $57. By the
time you figure $99 for Powerprint and the hoops you have to jump
through to get it to work, I think I'm better off using a print server,
or I have a ton of old PC's sitting around doing nothing which could be
used also. Actually IIRC, NEC offered an ethernet interface for this
printer as well, might be able to find one of those on Ebay or
somewhere. Thanks for your help Len.
