There are a number of routers with built-in printer servers. Our
Asante router has one, with a parallel port. We are using it with an
Apple LaserWriter. It works great in OS 9 and X and all of our
various computers.
My router, a DLink 714+ has a print server with parallel and usb ports.
Just be careful, many only support postscript for Mac printing through
the router.
