Huh?  The firmware has nothing to do with finding out if a board is rev 1
or 2, nor will it 'upgrade' the logic board.

To find out which rev of the board the B&W has, google for B&W IDE drive
upgrade.  There are a bunch of articles on lowend mac, 8xlerate your mac,
and other Mac web sites that will tell you just about anything you ever
wanted to know about the system.
