G'day George
Use Carbon Copy Cloner to copy your existing OS X setup to the
external (assuming you have an existing). Just untick the users box
if you just want the system.
However, if you're running Tiger, CCC needs a special technique. Post
back if needed.

Santa

I'd like to install OS X on an external hard drive, but the
installer says I can't because I can't start my computer from that
drive. Does anyone know a work around to accomplish this?
Thanks,
George
