You'll find all the files, links and the apps here to update your
firmware to the latest version and enable region free....

If you don't wish to enable region free you can use the mac OSX firmware
flasher available at this site (DVRFlash 2.0) with the firmware upgrade
files for your particular drive from Pioneer's site. If anything interferes
- sleep, power loss etc - with the flash process your drive could be
rendered useless. This can only be remedied by a reflash using a pc and dos
commands or a dos app.
