Greetings ( + )!( + )
My macaholic friend was over to help me install a new DVD-RW in my
newly
acquired G4 sawtooth tower. He has full sets of both metric and
standard
allen wrenches and sets of torx, nothing fit - finally had to grind
one to
fit. What are these things? ( the wide head screws 2 per corner)
Thanks, Del

Could be that it's a;
"Robertson", Often referred to as socket head screws, they have been
very popular in Canada for years and are becoming more readily
available in the U.S.A. The drivers are differentiated by the colours
of their handles. Green, red and black are the three most popular. They
have all the advantages of Philips plus the fact that they usually will
stay on the driver even when pointing downhill.
I think that you can get "Robertson" drivers at Sears. Or should I call
it "K Mart"
Best Regards, /\*_*/\

I know, when people see a cat's litter box, they always say, "Oh, have
you got a cat?" Just once I want to say, "No, it's for company!"
