Hi all

I have a beige with a 400mhz G3 which has been running 10.3.9 fine until today when I rebooted.

Now I'm getting a grey screen with:

FAULT CATCH!, code=FFF00700 at %SRR0: 05609710 %SRR2: 00023070

n Firmware, 2.0f1
continue booting the MacOS type:
<return>
continue booting from teh default boot device type:
T<return>
 Open Firmware serial I/O type:
A IO<return>

This all comes up so fast I don't have a chance to hit return until this point.

I hit return and got:

        ok
-

and waited.... Nothing else happened for over 15 min.

I put the same HD in a B&W and it booted fine. I ran permissions repair and HD repair just to be sure.

When I booted off a different startup disk I found that the OS9 folder on that disk had become un-blessed. Fixing that allows me to reboot in 9, but I still can't get into X
