In my quest to move up to a G3 MT from a Performa 6360 (400mhz NewerTech
G3), I picked up a 100GB Maxtor drive at Best Buy.
Only $50, so couldn't pass it up.

I am planning to install Jaguar on the drive so I partitioned
it into 4 parts, one of which is 7.6GB, which I "think" is the
first physical partition, though I really don't know how to tell.

When the drive mounts on the desktop, the partitions show up
numbered from highest to lowest, with the 7.6GB partition at
the bottom. I suppose this makes some sort of logical sense,
but I can't figure the logic.

Did I end up with the "less than 8 gig partition" in the right
place on the drive in order to install OS X?

HELP!

Ken
