Hi Justin:
Here are the players:
drives: most likely ATA33's -master/parent drive has OS 10.3.9 runs well,
drive 2 unformatted
Bus: G3 OEM ATA-33 (rev 2 board)
cable: ATA-66
problem: drives unrecognized upon bootup (happy face question mark)
unplug unformatted slave drive - same problem.
Haven't yet swapped cables, but first one was brand new.
