eh price. I bagged a refirb 80 GB for $21 and a new one for $41 on eBay a few weeks ago. No shipping costs; local pickup.

You live in or near Chicago, iirc..."local pickup" for you involves a much richer hunting ground than for many of us.

Also, I must have some sort of "anti-ebay-field" surrounding me. I *always* seem to get sniped out of things at the very last second, so e-bay has never seemed to be a very reliable place to buy things.

If I need something, I want to get it now, not play some game of "maybe I'll get this one, maybe I won't".
