Hey Yersinia not trying to burst your bubble or anything but it seems
you are going to be going to an awful lot of trouble trying to get this
brand of Linux which is a derivative of Unix running on your machine
when OS X would be a lot easier. Just my opinion and not trying to start
a flame. I've been following your reasoning for wanting to stay with OS
9 and with a second drive I believe you could have the best of both
worlds. U see this is going to be attempted on a Beige you do have a B &
W as well correct.
I initially tried OS-X on my Beige and got it up to OS X.2.6 and it
wouldn't go any higher so I then got me a B & W and got up to the
current Version and then came into a Sawtooth and I'm totally hooked.
With the Beige I had to not put OS 9 on with OS-X because with the two
of them onboard the machine was flaky, but X by itself was great.
OS X is a beautiful, robust and stable OS. Give it a try, I think you'll
like it.
Just my $0.02 worth and I'm still interested in your attempt to run
Ubuntu on the Beige. Good Luck
Brad
