I need some opinions.

I'm moving to a place with a wireless router. I've always been hard core cable connected up until now. I'm getting a little forced to move ahead.... :))

What card do I need for my G5? What is the fastest for the money? Does it matter what kind of router they have? What do I have to do to set it up once there?

Airport Card is $79. Installs in seconds. Airport Express is available at a wide range of prices over various places on the net. I prefer to buy from Apple, but that's just me. On Jan 9, 2006, at 7:20 AM, Tim wrote:

So will the Airport card work with any other wireless router?

Yes, the AirPort card works with any 802.11b or 802.11g router. I personally use a NetGear MR314 at home, and we use Apple's AirPort Base Stations at work.
