Why would you compare these? The natural practical thing is to
compare things of similar price?
Because the initial cost is only part of TCO. That $300 laser is, in
the end, cheaper to own and operate than the $100 inkjet.
I mean what would you consider the better deal: a $500 car that ran
on $200/gal fuel and got 5 MPG, or a $15000 car that ran on $2/gal
fuel and got 25MPG?
