I bought a usb2/firewire case for a 2.5 inch drive. It works fine on my G4 but the usb 1 port on my wife's early clamshell doesn't see it at all. The drive is bus powered and is lit up and clicking. The machine is running 10.3.9 and Profiler doesn't see it either, nor does disk utility.
This surprised me since my big 3.5 firewire/usb2 drive works fine on that clamshell, in usb 1 mode of course. Any suggestions as to how to get it up on the clam?
