Hello to all.
I purchased a G3 450 chip from a B&W and received it today. I changed the
jumpers for 450 and the Mac boots but freezes after showing the desktop.
Went down all the way to 266 ---the original speed of the motherboard-- and
it also freezes.
Any hints? Beyond of course that I should have gotten an accelerator
instead of a plain CPU. The CPU was theoretically more fun.
New CPU is labeled:
IBM25PPC
750L2EM1A
450
The die size of the CPU is way smaller than the original.
Thanks in advance.
Ing. Pablo Roufogalis L.
