This depends entirely on the video card, both for the B&W and the G4
towers. They have standard PCI slots, so there are lots of video cards
to choose from.
But of course that costs money usually. If a video card doesn't support
VGA you can always get an adapter. They are cheap, and available both
for old style Mac monitors -> VGA and vica versa. Don't know about ADC
monitors, but probably there are adapters for that too.
Sorry I am sounding so late 90's with my mac knowledge
but just catching up with another quick question:
So a B+W G3 uses a VGA monitor and connector. Does
that mean any generic flat screen and/or LCD monitor
works?
A G4 tower takes -only- the newer ADC monitors? Does
that mean older crt VGA monitors will NOT work?
I may be getting a B+W G3, but I want to know if that
means down the road I cannot use an Apple cinema
display or if I am forever shunned to the VGA world.
