Ok, I just picked up a G4 DA with 10.3.9. It didn't come with any
speakers or any of that stuff. My question is, what can I do to
make this a decent system to watch movies on since it has a DVD
player? I have an LCD monitor that I can turn around to face a
comfy chair in my office so I'm thinking this would be a pretty
good setup. What kind of speaker system does anyone suggest I pick
up to make this a really good movie watching experience?

I've been using the USB iSub with it's included speakers for several
years. I've used it with my G4 867, iMac G5 and now my dual 2 gig G5
tower. Sound is excellent. I really like the setup and would miss
them if I didn't have them. They did make a design modification and
now they connect via a plug to the headphone jack but the Sound is
just as good (I've played with them at the Apple Store) I think they
retail for about $199 but you could probably find the USB ones on
either the swap list or ebay. I highly recommend them plus they look
cool.....all clear plastic and the subwoofer has a blue light in
it....looks great in the dark.
