Here's one I haven't seen before, but it does a good job of showing
the wave outputs:

The Smart-UPS there has a wave pattern much closer to a sine wave than
the Back-UPS.

I don't know how much difference this makes in practice, since
blackouts are rare here (after we had the power company fix a few
things), and tha backup power only lasts long enough to shut down
gracefully.
