If you turn off all the glitter (which in a work place environment would have been done any way) it should run pretty good. Also I'm pretty sure Windows 7 will run great on a 2004 office basic computer. I'm running Windows 7 RC right now and I've noticed a huge speed increment over Vista SP1.
