Unless you buy a used mac, that's a different story. For 1/5
of the iPad's intro price, you can buy yourself a decent Power Mac G4
Quicksilver, and run leopard on it.

Yeah, but laying a G4 in your lap to read a book is, shall we say, JUST a little inconvenient? :-)
