Hi, I have problems with my SCSI-controller card, it is an Adaptec 2906. My SCSI-Probe in OS9 sees my Microtek Scanmaker III but when I try to use it I get all kinds of errors. Although I used the scanner before with Microtec ScanWizard now Photoshop versions 4 and 6 tell me I have an old driver or scanner not found. In OSX no scanner is seen anyway so I cannot use VueScan which I would prefer as I have Adobe CS2.
So what other brand and model of SCSI-controller can you recommend that would work in OSX Panther/Tiger and OS9? TIA for your input.
