Yes, use some application to download the video, transcode it to dvd and play it that way. You can see the minor drawbacks of this process: it takes far more processing power than just playing the video.

Seriously, it's time to consign the PPC to the scrap heap for this kind of application.

YouTube recently discontinued the &fmt tags. Things were rough for a few weeks after but now this past few weeks... I donno... Playing YouTube stuff on my QuickSilver has been pretty good! Not as smooth as on a multi GHz x86 Mac, but still quite watchable.
