10.3 was noticibly faster than 10.2 and 10.4 was, IMHO, slightly faster still
on the same hardware. 10.4 will still be okay with a Rage 128. That's hardly
a "weak" card by 10.4 standards even though it is seriously outclassed by
modern accelerators.
