Do you hear the BONG when it starts up?

It could be one of the following:

1. the little battery is dead
2. The HD is dead

Which Quicksilver you have?
Quicksilvers are very nice machines, especially the Dual Processor ones, you
can install Mac OS X 10.5 and still use them!

See here my Quicksilver 800MHz DP with 3 screens, running Mac OS X 10.5

I have a PowerMac G4 Quicksilver that I had sitting for about a year or two. I
went to see if it still works but it turns on but that is all.

Do you have any suggestions on what I should check for as to why it won't work?
As far as I remember it did work before.
