I would probably make sure you have a copy of the original bios handy... I am usually not a fan of upgrading firmware in things that are generally not broken :) But if they are claiming an AGP fix, it might be the ticket. I have not had any experience with the nvidia stuff, as all my nvidia boxes run that Sil3xxx chipset and that's apparently a "hardware-assisted software" raid chipset, so the *nixes tend not to play well at all with it.
