Hi, Jason. If you land on a monster it spells instant death. So if you are going to jump over a monster you have to time it just right so you clear the monster. Let's assume you are going to jump over the snake. I would walk right a few steps, and as soon as the snake gets pretty close I would hold down the space and right arrow key which would jump to the right. You'll have to train your ear for about how close they can be before you must jump. Practice makes perfect. Smile.
