The only thing I would like to say in response to this is that I do agree that falling off a ladder shouldn't kill you. Hurt you perhaps, if you're high enough, but certainly not kill you. One could survive a 20 foot fall, and that's about how tall these ladders seem to be. As for the ledge, well, there is a look function. There. I'm done.
