Hi Dark, I know, but one thing that bothers me is the amount of poor equipment used by the amateur actors or actresses being considered. I've met a few people who were fine voice actors for a project, but their microphone was total crap allowing a lot of static and hiss into the recording or there was to much background noise etc. Not their fault since they are not professional recording artists, but it is no fun having a decent voice talent but his or her microphone sounds like total trash. Probably some $15 to $20 Mic they picked up for talking on Skype or something, and they need something three or for times that much for a fairly clean recording.
