Ah I see, maybe the bossjok app would work, not sure if I spelled that
right, but you can play a track and speak or sing over the top of it.

The problem isn't recording specifically, I have a digital recorder for
that, it's rather getting the wherewithall together to reccord backing and
then my voice over the top. It's one of these things I've always wanted to
look into but haven't got around to unfrotuantely.
