That's one of those that I would have to try in order to appreciate.
It's probably like what they used to call "rock and bowl" at the bowling
center that I used to bowl in. They put big column speakers down near the
lanes and crank the volume of rock music to a point at which you could not
hear anyone talking nearby. People would bowl with the music blasting. I
am used to a quiet setting when trying to concentrate on my shots, and I
have to be told what pins remain standing after the first ball. I only
tried "rock and bowl" once, and don't understand how people can enjoy it.

Normally I'd agree with you, but that game in particular was so fast
paced that a hard rock track was fitting. I vaguely recall the game
Dark is talking about and it was a fast action arcade game and was
never meant to emulate real fishing as it were. So in that specific
case a hard rock track was more than appropriate.
