Dark, 1. Downloads do not complete: Perhaps contacting your ISP to have tests run on the signal quality reaching your home would be a good thing. I remember that when I had a similar issue, there was equipment on the outside of my home that needed replacing. Also, if you are using wireless to connect, try using at least cat5 Ethernet cable and directly connecting your pc. Run your computer directly from the modem to the PC. Do not use routers or switches for this test. If your downloads are successful, then it is likely a wireless connectivity issue. 2. Folders do not display correctly: What do you mean, they do not display correctly? In what way are they incorrect? What is it that you're seeing that you shouldn't, or not seeing that you should? I used windows 7 for years, and folders worked just fine for me. Remember also that the look and feel of your folders can be changed in folder options. 3. Outlook sucks: I actually used Outlook for many years with Win 7, but if you want outlook express, then install it. Personally I found that the commands were mostly the same, so I didn't need it. As I stated yesterday, Windows 7 was Microsoft's best operating system at the time of its completion. Any issues you're having I suspect fall into 3 categories: Possible hardware issues, possible equipment issues from your ISP, and user unfamiliarity with the operating system. I'll try to help you as best I can, but I'm going to need more info than just "folders don't display right."
