glad your trying the game. Bryan peterson also did a podcast about Sryth on 
blind cool tech. I'm afraid I don't have the link, but you could try 
searching for Sryth the age of Igtheon on the blind cooltech site at 
http://www.blindcooltech.com/ , Bryan explains a lot of the mechanics and 
plays through a brief start up adventure, which might be helpful for you to 
know if you want to find out more abou the game.

sinse the in game documentation is well and truly out of date, You could 
also try the official Sryth wiki at http://sryth.pbwiki.com/

hmmm, seeing your post reminds me of my old project to create a new player's 
guide for Sryth, maybe I ought to actually get the thing finished.
