Hi,
Duck Hunt is like that as well. After you get to level 15 or so you
begin wondering when will the game be over. I intentionally just stop,
because it gets tiring to keep blasting away at ducks and racking up
huge scores.
Now, that I look back at the classic NES I wonder what exactly it was
about DH that made me play it all the time on the NES. Perhaps it is the
introduction of RPGs, FPS games, that has changed my opinion of what is
good and what is boring enough to qualify as watching paint dry.
Now, if someone were to make a Double Dragonclone, Castlevania clone,
Megaman clone, etc that would be pretty kick butt.
