I'd like to do that to.
will fsx work well on a 2ghz system core2 duo with 2gb ram?
I have decided to grab fs04 though as all the menus will read, etc.
pitty you can't have the addon for the shuttle on that, unless you can get that working.

I would prefer piloting an Apollo spacecraft and lunar excursion module to and from the moon, but a space shuttle would also be awesome. Come to think of it, a game including all aspects of our space program, even the x15, or a series of such games, would be just! flat! awesome! You would have to graduate from one type of craft to the next most difficult. (Hmm. Could this be something for Thomas Ward to work on? Hint hint)

Hi,
Yeah, I've heard FS X is a massive system resource hog. They have beafed up all of the graphics, improved the internal cockpit views, etc and as a result it requires a huge amount of memory and processor power to even run the thing. As with Windows Vista what Microsoft says on the box and what you actually need to run it is a joke. Still I've been rather interested in trying the Shuttle Flight Simulator for FS X. I think that would be frickin' awesome. I've always dreamed about flying the space shuttle.

FSX is not accessable. To tell you the truth, a lot of pilots have not
decided to upgrade to FSX because of the sheer demand placed upon the
user's system. Most pilot's systems simply cannot handle the processor
demands of FSX.
