Hi Ben, Microsoft's licenses for the XBox aren't as restrictive as other consoles. The XNA Framework/XNA Studio for .NET was specifically designed to make it possible for amateurs to create their own games for the XBox. That said I recall you have to physically copy and install the games to the XBox rather than run them from a DVD.
