Hi, You have to remember that the beacon is from the perspective "as the crow flies." What that means is that it is a straight line from your position. It does not take into account any walls, creeks, buildings, or any other obstacles in your way. So many times you will have to walk in a totally opposite direction to get to the way you need to go to head towards your beacon. And yes, it does not tell you if any zombies are hiding behind a wall. Just listen before walking thru that entrance or around a corner.
If buildings are a problem, then try using the custom map option with no zombies. Walk around inside the building, use your radar and building helper and try to get a feel for the layout of the building. HTH. Shermanator ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lori Duncan" <lori_dunca...@hotmail.com> Sent: Sunday, May 06, 2012 5:06 AM Thanks, but the problems I'm having is when I go into a building I get totally lost and keep hitting walls no matter which way I turn. I can't seem to get the building helper to work, and sometimes when I try to track the entrence I'm told go a direction but when I try to go that way I just run into a wall. The radars work, but sometimes mask the sound of a zombie coming along. The same goes for quests and being inside buildings there. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org.
