Hi Ben, What do you mean the rules are too complex? The rules for Major league Baseball are pretty simple. At least as far as I'm concerned.
I guess this is just one of those cultural things between someone who grew up in the U.S. and the U.K. Most Americans,even those who don't watch Baseball, are familiar with the rules and basic game play because at some point they will probably play Baseball on the playground, in gym class, or with a group of friends in the neighborhood. As someone who grew up in the U.S. all my life I can't imagine someone who doesn't know how to play Baseball. Cheers!
