I don't know why you would want the old voices. They are average for the time, mary is ok. But compaired to the comercial voices they are a little rough. If anything I prefur the sapi4 builds.

I'm suspecting if you installed the Sapi 5.1 voices from Jim's site you just toasted your Sapi 5.4 installation and that is why Sapi isn't working. So if you did install Sapi 5.1 try and do a System Restore from a restore point prior to the sapi 5.1 installation and that should roll back your Sapi install to factory defaults.
