Just out of curiosity: Are there any good reasons to limit line lengths to
~80 characters? Nowadays every monitor is widescreen and displays a lot
more horizontally. Also, I got the feeling that limiting line widths to
such small sizes forces people to come up with non-readable variable and
function names sometimes (or forces a lot of line breaks).
