It is not a showstopper in the straight sense because it is not regression and
just stopping the release won't fix it.

but it is a serious enough issue to be considered a "nice to have fixed", as
it will prevent a distribution for packaging the web frontend at least, and in
some cases (like on debian) to stop distributing ganglia altogether.
