Default expiration is 30 days. Any machine that doesn't report within that window gets purged from the XML, and by extension, the web interface. You can tune the expiration in the gmond config files with the host_dmax setting. You can force the cleanup by restarting gmond and gmetad on all machines. This doesn't clean up the rrds though, which is a manual process. They're pretty small though so I ignore this step. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
