I think I just fixed it. One thing I noticed was that the majority of the 
python plugins are not set to use on OSX, so I commented out the include 
directive in the gmond.conf, as well as setting deaf=yes (was no before), since 
I am only sending data. Not using any load now, and seems to be working fine.. 
Now to look and see what python modules actually do work in OSX.
