I am interested. I think what is needed is mainly a newbie - friendly site for port, explaining the problem port solves, how to get asdf / asdf-install running on your distro to the point where you can grab port and go. The thing I'm missing is a testing methodology and test suite. And a few volunteers to run it on platforms I don't have access to - I once got entangled in a multi - complier C++ library and testing was the #1 nightmare. I believe ECLS folks have similar problems in covering so many compilers / platforms.
