I think you'd have to allow for the Spurrier factor in the first half. He said he would handle the play calling for this game. That's what made me so nervous before kickoff.
But, our defense certainly rose to the occasion in the 4th quarter. I just wish people would stop talking about the Gators being 19 - 0, now 20 - 0. This team is 10 - 0. Those other wins belong to the 2008 team. I want our guys to play loose, and have fun, not like they are trying to preserve or maintain something, or be perfect, or play up to the expectations of others. A few weeks ago, although I certainly didn't want us to lose a game, I was thinking that dropping one might actually be liberating for the team, and give them some motivation (as did the loss to 'Ole Miss last year). It could also have helped with the fans' expectations, and we might not have been so critical after close wins. Anyway, it's way too late for that now.
