K=out. WP=wild pitch resulting in advancing runner(s) BB=base on balls F7=fly out to left fielder 1-4-3=grounder fielded by pitcher, thrown to second for one out and to first for another out. If the attempt at second did not result in an out, but the batter is thrown out at first in the above example, it would be simply a 4-3. PB=passed ball, a pitch the catcher should have caught but missed resulting in runner(s) advancing. Class dismissed. Quiz next season. A.
