I don't know about labels, but you two are the latest incarnation on this list of "everything's going to hell in a handbasket/coaches are lousy/players are lousy".
I just don't understand your unrealistic expectations. The team is very young, talented or not. 11 players from last year are playing in the NFL this year. O line was injured in first two games. All these and many more are logical reasons, not excuses for why the team has "underperformed" according to Gator Nation's expectations. Yes, several media outlets were saying great things about the Gators in the pre-season. Surprise! They, like you do the same thing every year! If you're going to be the harbingers of disaster I just wish you'd be a little imaginative in it and not be just like everyone else, every year. What are you going to say when we win the NC? It will happen by next season. With the improvement we've seen in the team by those lousy coaches we have a long shot at doing it this year! What then? Why aren't we blowing everybody out by 70 or more? Why can't we beat the Packers? Why didn't they have some graduate assistant sitting there next to the hot tub quizzing him on the plays? There are serious problems in developing these studs - and all I've heard are excuses. I am not calling for firing the coaches - obviously they do some good things. But to not have these guys ready to play is inexcusable and speaks of a major problem. I don't know what the fix is - but then again I am not being paid $3 million (or whatever) to fix it. We just wasted four games teaching guys how to block, run routes, and snap the ball.
