I think Gillislee has the potential to be a big-time back in a pro-style
offense. He's big enough to push through the line (but still needs another
20 lbs) and fast enough to break free. He also seems to have good vision and
a knack for finding holes on the rare occasion that he's given a chance. I
predict he'll have a big year next year. Remember, you heard it here first.
(Actually, no need to remember. If I'm right, I'll remind you. If I'm wrong,
I'd rather you forgot!)

We'll see what happens in the running game with a more pro oriented approach
and hopefully more aggressive line play. Personally I don't think the
spread is very running back friendly so I'm looking for better things next
season. I also believe Drayton said as much when he left UF for Tn a couple
of years ago. I'm also not crazy about 170-190 lb scat back types as the
main ingredients in the running game.

I don't know why people are so down on Stan Drayton, his #1 RB was out most
of the year with an injury, his #2 RB was suspended for a substantial
portion of the season, his #3 RB is a bust regardless of who coached
him....Plus his highly recruited freshman RB was injured and redshirted...

I wonder what the results would be at any other school given similar
circumstances.

For some reason, 3 head coaches at major universities, UF and UT have hired
him..

Stephen Manuel.

Loeffler is gone. So now QB play might get better. (coughs)

Now.. someone explain to me again.. how Drayton didnt get the ax?
Please... anyone? Any... one?

Maybe RBs will get better under Verducci... maybe. Apparently he did coach
Emmitt Smith when they were both at Dallas. He did okay . ;)
