Having gone the GB-Flash route I had to wonder about the GB-1000. For the most part, isn't it just a 1U PC with an IDE/Flash drive?
Couldn't you just upgrade the flash module inside to a 64MB card (from the original 16MB)? Has anyone taken one apart? Or does this perhaps have something to do with the high availability option? We had a few from the *early* batches. It's $1700 for us. I would much rather spend $795 on GB-ware license and run it on a pc. I'm not particularly enticed by any of the new features, but I don't want to be left out in the cold when new software updates come along. What do you guys think?
