Reopening, because if this is by design, the doc page at
<http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc/Precompiled-Headers.html> should elaborate;
it does not currently mention anything about incompatibility or other
difficulties with -no-integrated-cpp or -save-temps.  

The supplied code compiles fine if the -no-integrated-cpp flag is removed, and
it seems reasonable for a user to expect that those flags would not cause an
otherwise working build to break.  Are precompiled headers simply incompatible
with those flags?  If not, then what's needed to make them work?
